Job DescriptionThe Global Corporate Strategy team tackles some of Visa’s toughest questions to chart our long-term strategy. Our work spans all aspects of Visa, including businesses, geographies, and functions.
We are an apprenticeship-based culture, rigorously investing in the cultivation of exceptional talent. The 2-year Corporate Strategy Development Experience enables high potential, early and mid-career talent to build their strategy competencies as the first step of their career at Visa. Throughout the 2-year cycle, participants will have an opportunity to develop a broad network, understand our business, and hone their strategy toolkit. Candidates will tackle the most difficult and pressing strategic and operational topics at Visa.
The Associate: Corporate Strategy Development Experience will:
- Support major workstreams across strategic projects, developing unique and creative solutions that strengthen Visa Inc.'s corporate strategy
- Structure and solve business problems, collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders across functions and regions
- Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analyses to support recommendations
- Communicate recommendations within the Corporate Strategy Team and to broader internal audiences
- Participate in regular strategy and payment focused trainings
This is a hybrid position based in San Francisco or New York. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
2 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or and Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD); 0 years of work experience for PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 2 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD); 1 year of work experience for PhD
- Typically requires experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking or equivalent
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry not required, but a plus
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,600.00 to 166,150.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
