Associate, Broadcast Services:

The Broadcast Integration (BRS) Team’s aim is to support the Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) in the preparation and planning of the most seamless, innovative, and engaging broadcast of the Games.  

The BRS team is responsible for delivering high quality facilities and services to the Media Rights Holders and OBS to ensure the best possible media coverage of the Games to the widest possible audience. To do this, the team liaises closely with OBS to manage planning processes related to broadcasting the Olympic and Paralympic Game. This includes hosting meetings and workshops, conducting surveys, and acting as the main point of contact with the other LA28 functional areas concerning the successful delivery of broadcast infrastructure at competition venues. Additionally, the team delivers services to OBS and media rights holders to support their operations – such as accommodation, accreditation, transportation, information, technology, technical support, warehousing, permitting, medical services, and other services at Games time. 

Reporting to the Senior Director of Broadcast Services, this role will support the successful planning and delivery of all broadcast-related operations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. This role will provide critical coordination and administrative support for key planning activities, including scheduling, documentation, and cross-functional engagement to enable and deliver broadcast services in the lead up to the Games Period and throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Project Coordination  

  • Schedule internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and follow-up actions. 
  • Support the tracking of planning milestones, deliverables, and timelines across workstreams. 
  • Maintain and update shared documentation, trackers, and planning tools for team use. 

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Support 

  • Help facilitate communication between Broadcast Services and key LA28 Functional Areas. 
  • Coordinate the collection and consolidation of information from stakeholders. 
  • Support document management and version control for shared resources with OBS and third parties. 

Games-time Readiness & Operations  

  • Participate in planning sessions and venue readiness activities. 
  • Support operational logistics for events and meetings including World Broadcaster Meetings or site visits. 
  • Assist with basic venue setup tracking, scheduling tools, or service planning documentation. 
Background & Requirements:
  • 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in event operations, project coordination, live production, sports, or media. 
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. 
  • Exposure to large-scale events, project-based work, or supporting cross-functional teams is a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. 
  • The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.   
  • The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.   
  • Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.  
  • Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  

The annual base salary range for this position is $30.00-35.00/hr. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
