As an Associate Account Executive at Candid, you’ll support the sales process from lead generation to client onboarding, playing a key role in expanding access to our clear aligner solutions. You’ll work closely with experienced Account Executives and internal teams to build relationships with dental practices, assist with presentations, and help ensure a smooth client experience.

This outside sales role will support the NYC territory. Candidates must be located in the territory.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospecting and Lead Development
    • Research and identify prospective dental practices that align with our target market
    • Work with our partners to work with prospective new practices and convert them to signed and active accounts
    • Conduct proactive outreach, including cold calls and in-person visits, to generate interest and schedule meetings with prospective dental practices
  • Sales Support & Presentations
    • Help organize and conduct in-practice trainings for dental teams
    • Provide product information and help respond to client questions
  • Client Onboarding & Relationship Management
    • Assist in onboarding new practices by coordinating training and product setup
    • Support Account Executives in maintaining ongoing client relationships
    • Help identify expansion opportunities by monitoring account activity
    • Help coordinate and execute on-site and local events
  • Account Management and Growth
    • Support Account Executives in maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients
    • Assist in preparing performance reports and identifying opportunities to optimize client success
  • Market Awareness & Product Knowledge
    • Learn and stay up to date on Candid’s products, industry trends, and competitor offerings
    • Participate in sales training and clinical education to grow your expertise

What You’ll Need

  • 1–2 years of professional sales experience; dental, orthodontic, or medical device background preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel within the region (~30–40% overnight travel)
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus

Our compensation ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other perks. OTE for this role is $140,000. To determine our range, we consider as many of the following data points as are available to us: external market salary survey data, experience level, skillset and balancing internal equity relative to our other employees. We include equity in our compensation packages because we believe our employees should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Candid to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
