Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • CPA or CMA certification required.
  • 10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Proven experience managing Controllers and leading external audits.
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • High proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Excel.
  • A leadership style rooted in integrity, collaboration, and results. 
  • CPA required; Big 4 or large public accounting background strongly preferred
  • Proven experience operating at a Controller or VP Controller level within a complex organization
  • Demonstrated success in building, upgrading, and scaling accounting teams and processes
  • Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, technical accounting, and audit management
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability and elevate team performance
  • Preferred
  • Experience in private equity-backed environments
  • Background in multi-unit / multi-location businesses
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite
  • Exposure to hospitality, service, or asset-intensive industries
