Reports to: Director of Retail Branding and Sr. Assistant Manager
Compensation: Starting $22-$25/hour + uncapped commission + 100% of tips + skincare bonuses

As Assistant Store Manager, you are a key member of the store’s leadership team responsible for driving sales performance, developing talent, and delivering a consistently exceptional luxury retail experience. You partner with the Sr Assistant Sales Manager to execute strategy, inspire the team, and ensure the store exceeds both financial and experiential expectations.

This role is ideal for retail leaders who are passionate about people development, performance coaching, and client experience excellence.

YOUR IMPACT

As Assistant Store Manager, you help translate Nectar’s brand energy into measurable store performance and unforgettable guest experiences.

You will:

Drive Revenue & Sales Performance

  • Partner with the Sr Assistant Sales Manager to achieve and exceed store sales goals
  • Lead from the floor by modeling best-in-class selling behaviors
  • Analyze daily performance metrics and coach the team to improve conversion, average ticket, and client engagement
  • Maintain a results-driven culture where strong selling behaviors are recognized and celebrated

Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Coach and mentor Sales Specialists through real-time feedback and structured development
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and professional growth
  • Inspire the team to consistently deliver high-energy, luxury-level service

Elevate the Client Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives a warm, engaging, and personalized experience
  • Lead interactive product demonstrations that showcase Nectar’s unique offerings
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism and care
  • Build lasting customer relationships that drive loyalty and repeat visits

Maintain Operational Excellence

  • Support inventory management, visual merchandising, and operational standards
  • Ensure the store environment reflects Nectar’s premium brand presentation
  • Serve as Manager on Duty when the Sr Assistant Sales Manager is unavailable
  • Uphold company policies and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient store environment

 

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

You are a results-driven retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You combine strong sales instincts with a passion for developing people and delivering memorable experiences.

Successful candidates typically bring:

  • 2–5+ years of retail experience, ideally in premium or luxury environments
  • Previous leadership, keyholder, or supervisory experience
  • A proven ability to drive sales performance and coach selling behaviors
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for client experience and team development
  • A positive, solutions-focused leadership style

You’re also comfortable:

  • Working evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed

Maintaining a professional appearance aligned with brand standards.
