Job Title: Assistant, Canada Ecommerce, Kate Spade
Primary Purpose: The Assistant, Ecommerce – Canada is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and execution of the Kate Spade Canada ecommerce business. This role partners closely with the Director, Ecommerce to execute the digital customer experience, maintain site health, coordinate product launches, support promotional execution, and ensure a best-in-class shopping experience for Canadian customers. The Assistant serves as the primary operational lead for the Canadian website, collaborating closely with their US counterparts to deliver timely, accurate, and engaging site experiences while identifying opportunities to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Canada Ecommerce Business
· Execute the daily operations of the Kate Spade Canada ecommerce site.
· Support the Director in delivering the Canadian ecommerce business plan through flawless execution of site updates, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
· Monitor daily business performance, escalating opportunities or issues impacting customer experience or sales.
Site Merchandising & Product Management
· Manage product lifecycle activities, including catalog maintenance, product launches, product categorization, and assortment updates.
· Execute site merchandising strategies that support seasonal priorities, promotional events, and inventory productivity.
· Maintain product attribution and category structure to support navigation, search optimization, and customer discovery.
· Partner with Merchandising and Buying teams to understand assortment strategies, delivery schedules, and inventory priorities.
Promotional & Content Execution
· Execute promotional setup and content updates within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
· Support homepage, navigation, landing page, and campaign updates in partnership with Marketing and Creative teams.
· Ensure promotional messaging and pricing are accurate and consistent across the Canadian sites.
Site Operations & Quality Assurance
· Perform daily QA across desktop and mobile experiences to ensure site accuracy, functionality, and a premium customer experience.
· Identify and troubleshoot site issues related to products, promotions, pricing, content, navigation, and checkout.
· Partner with Technology and Operations teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Analytics & Reporting
· Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on key business metrics including traffic, conversion, sales, top sellers, and promotional performance.
· Monitor site performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization.
· Conduct competitive benchmarking and share recommendations that improve the Canadian customer experience.
Cross-Functional Partnership
· Collaborate with CRM, Marketing, Buying/Planning, and US Ecom teams to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
· Support SEO and onsite search optimization efforts.
· Assist with testing initiatives and validate results following implementation.
· Participate in special projects supporting growth of the Canadian ecommerce business.
Qualifications
· 2+ years' of experience in Ecommerce, Digital Merchandising, Site Operations, or Digital Marketing; a combination of education and experience will be considered
· Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) or another ecommerce platform preferred.
· Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) or similar analytics tools.
· High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Passion for fashion, digital commerce, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
· Bilingual in English and French (Canadian French) is preferred.
