The Role

WME Group is seeking a sharp, proactive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President, WME Brand Strategy - a senior operator working across WME Group, and alongside major clients and enterprise initiatives. This role is the executive's operational right hand: keeping a fast-moving, high-volume schedule and workload organized, anticipating needs, and moving work forward with discretion and sound independent judgment. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, an excellent communicator, and comfortable interfacing with executive and senior-level leaders and their teams across the business.

What You'll Do:

Scheduling & Executive Support

  • Provide phone and call support: organize and join calls, listen actively, and proactively set and track follow-ups.

  • Take thorough notes across multiple workstreams and drive the resulting action items to closure.

Meetings, Travel & Logistics

  • Manage travel logistics end-to-end; draft itineraries, agendas, and travel booklets.

  • Coordinate conference room reservations, A/V setup, catering, and visitor registration for meetings and visits.

  • Complete and reconcile expense reports in Concur, on time and accurately.

Research & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Research industry, client, and market items for presentations and proposals.

  • Partner with HR, Legal, IT, Marketing, and Corporate Communications to support initiatives and keep work moving.

  • Help prepare and organize materials for leadership meetings, business reviews, and offsites.

  • Take on ad-hoc projects and proactively participate in initiatives to grow in the role.

You Have These:

  • High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); comfort with AI tools a plus.

  • Discretion and sound independent judgment in handling confidential information.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

  • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and a polished, professional demeanor.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; interest in brands, marketing or entertainment a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
