The Role
We’re looking for an Art Director to lead visual direction for performance marketing and growth, with a strong emphasis on upper-funnel creative and new user acquisition. This role balances creative leadership and people management — you’ll guide the creative process and drive concept development while also managing and developing a team of designers and motion creatives. You’ll be responsible for elevating design quality, ensuring our work is brand-aligned and performance-optimized, and fostering a culture of feedback, collaboration, and career growth within the team. The ideal candidate thrives in both craft and coaching, bringing clarity, inspiration, and direction to both the work and the people behind it.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and evolve the visual direction for marketing creative across channels and formats

  • Support hypothesis-driven creative testing, partnering closely with growth and analytics to continuously iterate and optimize based on results

  • Own the creative briefing process translating goals and insights into clear, actionable briefs that inspire great work

  • Lead concepting and design for high-impact campaigns, from paid social to product launches

  • Adapt creative approaches to resonate with different target audiences while maintaining brand cohesion

  • Provide hands-on art direction, feedback, and mentorship to a team of designers

  • Partner with growth, product, and content leads to ensure creative is brand-aligned, performance-optimized, and tailored to each channel (paid ads, landing pages, emails, social content, and more.)

  • Partner with the creative operations manager to keep timelines, deliverables, and resourcing on track across the production pipeline

What You Bring:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in visual design, art direction.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire designers while maintaining a high standard of craft.

  • Strong instincts for advertising creative, with a portfolio that reflects standout taste across formats and platforms

  • Familiarity with advertising best practices and creative testing frameworks

  • High level organization, with strong prioritization and project management skills

  • Understanding of creative hypothesis design/using performance data to drive decisions.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment.

  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and strong instincts for great creative.
