Lead architectural project delivery: evaluate project requirements, negotiate owner-architect agreements, manage scope, schedule, budget, and profitability, monitor construction documents and work-hour budgets, coordinate contractor bids, oversee correspondence and contracts, and assist with proposals and client interviews.
Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding an Architect/Project Manager to their San Diego team!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate
with Principal in evaluating project requirements
- Assist
with negotiation of owner-architect agreement including fee and time schedule
- Assist/lead
some project details such as project scope, profitability, schedule and budget
- Complete
projects on time and within budget including monitoring work-hour budgets
- Negotiate
critical issues with internal and external team members
- Monitor
quality of construction documents
- Oversee
all correspondence/documents for completion and accuracy seeking legal counsel
when needed
- Coordinate/review
contractor bids and make contractor recommendations
- Assist
with completion of proposals and client interviews
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 10+
years of experience
- Registration/License
- Proficient
in AutoCAD, Revit, and other graphics and project management software
