 About the role and what you'll be doing:   

As an Application Management Services Sr. Sales Executive at Ensono, you will drive new client acquisitions and partner with account executives to expand application management opportunities within existing accounts, specifically in the Insurance vertical. You will leverage Ensono’s differentiated capabilities, industry expertise, and proven frameworks to deliver value-driven solutions that address clients’ modernization, migration, and ongoing application management needs.

  • New Client Acquisition:
    • Identify, qualify, and close new AMS opportunities within the Insurance sector.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting insurance organizations seeking to modernize, migrate, or optimize their application portfolios.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
  • Account Development:
    • Collaborate with Ensono account executives to uncover and develop AMS opportunities within existing insurance accounts.
    • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business drivers, technical environments, and transformation goals.
    • Present Ensono’s AMS value proposition, leveraging our certified expertise, proprietary frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Solution Development
    • Work with solution architects and delivery teams to design tailored AMS solutions, including application modernization, migration to cloud or cloud-native platforms, and ongoing management.
    • Articulate the business value of Ensono’s services, including cost reduction, risk mitigation, improved security posture, and enhanced customer experience.
  •  Relationship Management:
    • Establish trusted advisor relationships with client stakeholders, from IT to business leaders.
    • Guide clients through the sales cycle, addressing concerns and ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives.
       
  • Market & Industry Insight:
    • Stay current on insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements.
    • Provide feedback to Ensono’s product and service teams to ensure offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Required Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 10 years of sales experience.
  • Proven track record in selling application management/maintenance, DevOps-enabled modernization,
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, cloud migration, and modernization trends.
  • Experience collaborating with account executives and technical teams to develop and close complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within client organizations.
  • Experience selling solutions that support CI/CD, automation, cloud-native development, or platform engineering.
  • Existing relationships and contacts that will drive a robust pipeline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.

Travel: Up to 50% of the time.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $115K to $162K annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include a role-based, sales-incentive plan and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
