It plays a key role in ensuring infrastructure scalability, compliance, and alignment with business needs.
Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as the primary point of contact for Application and Infrastructure teams regarding infrastructure architecture activities (design, upgrades, changes, performance etc.).
Support application assessment and classification to ensure business requirements are accurately mapped.
Translate non-functional requirements (NFRs) into infrastructure component designs.
Perform infrastructure sizing to meet performance, capacity, and growth needs.
Develop and maintain As-Is and To-Be Infrastructure Architecture Design documents (both high-level and low-level).
Review, validate, and approve infrastructure design changes.
Support application migration and upgrade strategies and execution.
Assist in triaging and troubleshooting high-priority incidents.
KPI: Timely and compliant delivery of infrastructure designs and support for application deployments.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
12+ years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure (Public Cloud / On-Prem).
10+ years of experience in private cloud hosting technologies (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, CommVault, NetApp, F5).
Expertise in defining deployment patterns for Operating Systems and Databases.
Experience designing infrastructure for data protection and resiliency (HA/DR).
Knowledge of network services (switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, etc.).
Familiarity with security services (IAM, SIEM, SOC, VA/PT, etc.).
Hands-on experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Essential skills: Strong reasoning, decision-making, and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Desirable Requirements:
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Certification in TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
