As an Android Engineer Intern, you'll assist in developing and testing features for Tinder's Android app, collaborating with engineers on improving user experience, and learning about mobile app development.

Program Duration
The internship program will run from June 1 through August 31, 2026.
Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid role that requires in-office collaboration three days per week in either Los Angeles or Palo Alto, California.
About the Role
As an Android Engineer Intern, you’ll collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and ship features that impact millions of users. You’ll work within a highly collaborative, technical environment focused on improving architecture, exploring new technologies, and delivering a world-class app experience.
What you'll do:
- Assist with developing and testing new features for the Tinder Android app.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve the user experience.
- Learn how to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Contribute to team discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Tinder’s UI platform and design system infrastructure.
What we're looking for:
- Interest in Android development and learning how large mobile apps are built.
- Basic programming experience in Kotlin.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms from coursework or personal projects.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
