Role Overview
In this role, you will engage with CPG clients to understand their business challenges and help translate them into analytical solutions. You'll develop and apply your knowledge of analytics methodologies—including pricing and promotion optimization, assortment optimization, demand forecasting, elasticity modeling, and channel strategy—to support the identification of approaches and tools that address clients' needs.
Working closely with senior team members and internal analytics teams, you'll help scope, manage, and deliver solutions that drive business impact for clients. By building understanding of clients' businesses and developing knowledge of Circana's analytics solutions, tools, and simulators, you'll support positioning our capabilities to address client challenges.
You'll contribute to client relationship development, support the identification of new opportunities, and help convert analytical insights into revenue growth for both your clients and Circana.
Job Responsibilities
Consultative Selling & Solution Support: Support identification of business issues and opportunities by applying growing knowledge of CPG industry, clients' businesses, and Circana's analytics capabilities. Develop understanding of client challenges related to pricing, promotion, assortment, demand forecasting, and channel strategy, and assist in recommending analytical solutions and approaches. Learn to articulate how Circana's tools, simulators, and custom analytics can address business needs and work with senior team members to synthesize modeled outputs into commercial implications for clients.
Client Engagement & Relationship Development: Support relationship building with client stakeholders at CPG companies across categories including food & beverage, home care, wellness, and beauty. Engage with clients to understand their business context, competitive dynamics, and performance drivers. Contribute to client meetings and presentations under guidance of senior team members.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop relationships with Circana Client Leads to understand client organizations and support coordinated engagement strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to align on messaging and client approaches.
Analytics Knowledge Development: Build working knowledge of advanced analytics methodologies including price elasticity modeling, demand transferability calculations, promotional effectiveness measurement, demand forecasting techniques, and optimization approaches. Stay current on Circana's analytics solutions, tools, and simulators to develop ability to position capabilities and explain concepts to business audiences.
Project Management: Support project delivery by working with internal analytics teams and offshore modeling resources. Help scope projects, track timelines, and coordinate implementation of analyses. Support quality delivery of analytics programs that address clients' business issues.
Business Development Support: Contribute to revenue growth by supporting identification of analytics opportunities within client accounts. Assist in developing proposals, responding to RFPs, and scoping analytics solutions under guidance of senior team members. Help drive both short-term wins and long-term relationships.
Communication & Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, active listening, and presentation skills. Present analytical findings clearly and adapt messages for different audiences. Learn to guide clients toward data-driven decision making and tell compelling stories that connect analytics to business outcomes.
Requirements
- 7-12 years of experience in CPG marketing analytics, category management, or related analytical roles
- Experience working with clients in a consultative or analytical capacity with demonstrated success in building professional relationships
- Working knowledge of analytics methodologies including price elasticity modeling, demand forecasting, promotional optimization, assortment optimization and channel strategy analytics
- Experience using Point of Sale, syndicated, and other CPG data sources in analytical applications
- Growing familiarity with pricing and promotion tools, simulators, and optimization platforms; ability to communicate technical concepts to business audiences
- Understanding of CPG industry with experience in food & beverage, home care, wellness, or beauty categories preferred
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical approaches and support project delivery through internal analytics teams
- Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to engage professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated success working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
- Bachelor's degree required in marketing, business, economics, statistics, or related field; advanced degree in quantitative discipline preferred

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Continental US, with ability to travel as needed (<5%)
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $135K to $145K.
This job is also eligible for [bonus/incentive/commissions/equity] pay.
