The Director of Market Access Pricing & Analytics is a key leader within the US Market Access team, responsible for delivering insights that drive pricing, contracting, and reimbursement strategies. This role blends advanced analytics, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to support critical business decisions and improve patient access. The Director will identify opportunities, assess risks, build stakeholder alignment, and translate data into actionable strategies that advance market access objectives.
QualificationsPricing & Contracting (40%)
- Develop analytical insights to inform pricing, contracting, and reimbursement strategies across brands and channels.
- Build robust financial and business case models to evaluate pricing and contracting opportunities within payer markets and commercial agreements.
- Conduct advanced quantitative analyses, including rebate modeling, formulary positioning, competitive dynamics, and scenario planning, ensuring alignment with business and financial goals.
- Partner closely with Market Access and Finance to deliver data-driven recommendations supporting contracting strategies.
- Collaborate with Legal to draft, review, and execute compliant, high-quality contracts.
- Support the execution and project management of new contracting strategies.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting (40%)
- Build and enhance forecast and impact models reflecting pricing assumptions, discounts, rebates, and environmental risks.
- Analyze segment performance, report trends, and assess implications for the company’s financial outlook.
- Create and maintain tools supporting Gross-to-Net (GTN) forecasting, ensuring integration with enterprise financial projections in partnership with Finance and Forecasting teams.
- Develop models and analyses to support both in-line and pipeline products.
- Identify and manage third-party vendors as needed to meet analytical and project objectives.
Research & Insights (30%)
- Conduct and contribute to market access research and analytics to inform pricing, access, and contracting decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Finance, Commercial, Forecasting, and Government Pricing teams to support strategic business planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, or PhD) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in market access, pricing, analytics, finance, or related pharmaceutical/biotech roles.
- Strong expertise in pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and Gross-to-Net modeling.
- Advanced analytical, modeling, and forecasting capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience managing projects, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $190,000 - $261,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.
