POSITIION SUMMARY:
The Analyst is a data integration and reporting specialist that supports the retirement planning division of Shuster Advisory Group. The position works closely with team members to gain fundamental background knowledge on retirement plans, including 401(k), 457(b), 401(a), 403(b) and defined benefit
plans as well as experience with reporting, analytics, and client service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrate data from a variety of sources into cohesive and comprehensive presentations and reports.
- Prepare reports to monitor plan participation, performance, and costs.
- Assist in preparation of client and prospect presentations.
- Participate in client meetings/report deliveries.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & TECHHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with financial analysis and FP&A a plus but not required.
- Experience with retirement plans (401(k), 457(b), 401(a), 403(b), Defined Benefit Plans, etc.) a plus but not required.
*The expected hourly rate is for this position is $24.00 to $28.50 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
