The Role
The vertical industry analyst(s) will support Healthcare OR SLED OR TMEGS by delivering market insights, validating service offerings, and enabling GTM and partner strategies. Translates regulatory, funding, and buyer dynamics into tailored, industry-aligned solutions. As an individual contributor within Presidio’s vertical overlay structure, this role is instrumental in developing industry-aligned solution accelerators, services, and GTM initiatives by delivering deep market insights, validating offerings, and supporting partner strategy and funding optimization.

Responsibilities include: 

The Industry Analyst is a vertical-focused research, strategy, and GTM enablement role supporting Presidio’s Healthcare, State/Local/Education (SLED), and Telco, Media, Entertainment, Gaming & Sports (TMEGS) markets. As an individual contributor within Presidio’s vertical overlay structure, this role delivers deep industry intelligence to inform service development, partner strategy, and go-to-market execution. 

The analyst conducts specialized market research across regulatory, funding, procurement, and technology adoption trends unique to each vertical, translating complex requirements into industry-aligned service offerings, value propositions, and ROI models. This role supports Partner Strategy by identifying vertical-specific partner programs, certifications, funding mechanisms, and co-sell opportunities, while aligning OEM ecosystems to market needs. The analyst collaborates closely with Services Product Management, GTM leaders, and field teams to validate offerings, support RFP responses, develop buyer personas, and enable account strategy. 

Across all verticals, the role monitors competitive landscapes, tracks policy and compliance mandates, and develops thought leadership such as white papers, webinars, and industry presentations. The analyst also coordinates with other industry analysts to share best practices and cross-vertical insights, ensuring Presidio’s services remain relevant, differentiated, and aligned to evolving customer demands. 

Required Skills and Professional Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Media Studies, or related field and/or military experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in industry analysis, technology consulting, or vertical-focused roles, including 3–5 years as a Business Analyst on complex technology initiatives

  • Deep expertise in at least one vertical (Healthcare, SLED, or TMEGS) with the ability to apply cross-vertical insights

  • Strong analytical and research skills to synthesize market trends, regulatory requirements, funding models, and technology adoption patterns

  • Proven ability to translate industry-specific business and regulatory requirements into technology-enabled service solutions

  • Experience supporting GTM strategies, service development, partner alignment, and solution positioning

  • Knowledge of compliance, security, and governance frameworks relevant to regulated or high-performance environments

  • Experience supporting RFP responses, competitive analysis, value propositions, and reference architectures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation capabilities

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Partner Strategy, Sales, and GTM teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)

  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, client-facing, consultative environments

Preferred Skills and Professional Experience: 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Healthcare, Public Policy, Business, Technology, Media, or related discipline)

  • Experience working within a business or technology consulting organization

  • Vertical-specific certifications (e.g., healthcare, government contracting, security, or industry credentials)

  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems, OEM programs, co-sell motions, and funding mechanisms

  • Experience developing thought leadership such as white papers, webinars, conference presentations, or industry content

  • Understanding of procurement processes, funding cycles, and policy environments (public sector or regulated industries)

  • Technical acumen across cloud platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and modern service architectures

  • Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive and industry leaders

  • Cross-vertical experience enabling application of best practices and insights across multiple industries

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate market shifts and emerging opportunities
