Essential job functions:
- Acts as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal ADUSA business teams when support and guidance is needed during the vendor and item set-up and maintenance process.
- Facilitates communication and training between internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Regularly supports ADUSA functional business areas and vendors on effective vendor and item set-up and maintenance and provides ongoing performance feedback to all stakeholders.
- Monitors vendor and internal stakeholder compliance with established vendor and item set-up polices.
- Assists in conducting vendor audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Gathers and analyzes vendor master data, prepares reports for management and relevant teams.
- Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of vendor and item set-up, maintenance, and master data support initiatives.
- Supports the analysis of data insights to identify areas of improvement and recommends appropriate action plans to senior analysts and leadership.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of vendor and item set-up and maintenance processes and workflows.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of vendor and item set-up and maintenance.
- Participates in vendor-related meetings, providing valuable insights and updates.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field and/or equivalent professional work experience
- 1-2 years previous experience in vendor management, internal controls, or similar ro le
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Attention to d etai l, well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Complete understanding and ability to apply principles and standards. Knowledge of industry practices.
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment handling multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines.
- Requires travel - typically 10%
