Job Description

We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented Analyst to join our Finance Process Automation team. This entry-level role combines data analysis, technology, and finance to improve how financial information is prepared, validated, and reported.

Working with senior team members and finance stakeholders, you will help analyze existing processes, develop and test automation solutions, and create clear technical and user documentation. You will also support existing workflows and help ensure automated results are accurate, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to develop practical skills in finance processes, data preparation, and automation. Recent graduates with relevant coursework, internships, or project experience are encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis and Improvement
    • Work with finance stakeholders to understand existing processes, business requirements, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Document process steps, data sources, business rules, and expected outputs.
    • Help design more efficient, repeatable processes using appropriate automation tools.
  • Automation Development and Support
    • Develop and enhance data preparation and automation workflows under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Prepare, combine, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
    • Help troubleshoot existing workflows, investigate errors, and implement approved improvements.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to support implementation and integration.
  • Testing and Data Accuracy
    • Test workflows against documented requirements and expected results.
    • Reconcile outputs to source data or existing reports and investigate discrepancies.
    • Support user acceptance testing and document issues and resolutions.
    • Follow established procedures for handling sensitive financial data, managing changes, and obtaining approvals before deployment.
  • Documentation and Collaboration
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, process descriptions, and user instructions.
    • Communicate progress, questions, and issues clearly to team members and stakeholders.
    • Support user training and the transition of completed solutions into ongoing use.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience; relevant internships, coursework, and academic or personal projects are welcome.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity about how processes and data work.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, complete results.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities with guidance, and communicate potential delays or obstacles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookup functions, PivotTables, and working with tabular data.
  • Foundational experience with at least one data or automation technology, such as Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and finance processes.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience building workflows in Alteryx
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying, joining, and aggregating data.
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation, including libraries such as pandas, openpyxl, numpy, etc.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, accounting, or other recurring finance processes.
  • Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools used by the team, such as Power BI or Cognos Analytics.
  • Experience documenting processes, validating data, or testing automated solutions.
  • Alteryx Designer Core certification; Designer Advanced certification is an additional plus. #LI-EC1#CORP

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$57,276 - $95,459

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of  Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
