AlertMedia is seeking an experienced Analyst, Deal Operations & Strategy to play a critical role at the intersection of finance and sales. This individual will drive pricing strategy, deal structuring, and cross-functional alignment to support revenue growth. As a key member of the Finance team, you’ll own the full spectrum of deal operations—from crafting pricing strategies and structuring proposals to managing approvals and post-deal follow-up. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure every deal aligns with both customer needs and company goals. This role reports to the Director of Finance & Business Operations and offers high visibility across teams, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on deal velocity, profitability, and strategic alignment.

You are a vital part of the sales process, ensuring all deals are profitable, compliant and efficient.

What you get to do every day:

  • Deal Strategy and Structuring: Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to develop effective deal strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs. Analyze deal structures and pricing strategy to maximize revenue while considering market conditions and competitive landscape.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Implementation to ensure smooth execution of pricing strategies, timely deal approval, accurate contract terms, and successful customer implementations.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve deal desk processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and ensure consistent deal execution.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop, track, and report on key Deal Desk and Sales metrics to track deal performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the business. Use data to drive decision making and recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all deals are properly documented and company policies and procedures are adhered to at all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Training and Enablement: Proactively support the sales team with deal guidance, helping them navigate complex pricing and contract structures to streamline negotiations. Ensure that sales teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge to navigate complex deals.

What you bring to the role:

  • 4+ years of experience in deal desk, sales/revenue operations, pricing strategy, finance, or other related backgrounds, with a preference for those who have worked in SaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and proposal creation for complex sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other sales tools to manage pricing and proposal workflows.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, with the ability to create new tools from scratch, troubleshoot formulas, and analyze large sets of data.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and scale.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex pricing and deal terms into clear, actionable guidance for the sales team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on deadlines and deal velocity.
  • This is a hybrid position (3-4 days) in our beautiful headquarters in downtown Austin, Texas. Must reside in Austin or surrounding areas.
