The BlackRock Applied AI Product Lead will be responsible for setting, and executing against, a clear strategy for a suite of high-impact AI initiatives being delivered for BlackRock investment teams. This individual will lead cross-functional teams including business users, engineering, AI research, and more to deliver impactful AI capabilities that are fit-for-purpose for designated BlackRock teams and business priorities, while keeping an eye towards scalability and commercialization. Success in this role is based on delivering effectively against product scope to achieve product-level KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Define the product strategy for a portfolio of marquee AI initiatives delivering value for BlackRock investment teams. 

  • Drive alignment across key stakeholders across business teams, engineering, and AI organizations. 

  • Manage senior stakeholder communications to effectively socialize outcomes, impact, roadblocks, and proposed solutions. 

  • Prioritize product backlog to deliver the right outcomes for key stakeholders. 

  • Partner with platform, AI, and product engineering domains to ensure that solutions are implemented using the right tech stack for the job at hand. 

  • Ensure adoption of AI solutions with the designated audience and prioritize user feedback to ensure continually deepened product engagement. 

  • Evangelize an AI-first PDLC, infusing AI in not just what solutions are built, but how. 

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$215,000.00 - USD$275,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
