Role Overview:
Homebound is looking for an exceptional AI/ML engineer to accelerate our mission of building the leading Vertical AI stack for residential construction. Our proprietary platform captures granular data at every step of the homebuilding process, enabling us to create novel LLM-powered applications.
We are a small, fast-moving team with multiple AI products already in production and a growing GenAI platform. You will research and implement cutting-edge advancements in AI, design and deploy features, and work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the future of homebuilding.
What You’ll Do
Build cutting edge LLM driven applications
Expand Homebound’s growing GenAI engineering platform
Stay abreast of the rapidly evolving AI landscape, but know when and where to focus investments
Actively contribute to Homebound’s AI roadmap
Deploy high-quality production code on a daily basis
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of professional industry experience as a software engineer with a focus on AI/ML
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production (prompt engineering, RAG, evals, agents)
Fluency in Python is required and familiarity with ML/data tools (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Spark)
Experience working within a cloud-based infrastructure, ideally AWS

Salary Range:
We are hiring for this role at one of the following levels, with placement determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
AI/ML Engineer II ($110,000 - $144,000)
AI/ML Engineer III ($126,000 - $165,000)
