The Opportunity
As an AI & GenAI Data Scientist - Senior Manager you will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization to help clients solve complex business problems and support data-driven decisions within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Senior Manager you will lead large workstreams, use sound judgment in ambiguous situations, coach teams through complexity, and shape clear messages that connect technical analysis to business priorities. In this role at PwC, you will guide exploratory and descriptive analysis, apply machine learning techniques to large data sources, and contribute to the development of AI and GenAI solutions that inform strategy and operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leading AI and GenAI data science workstreams for client engagements and translating business questions into analytic approaches
- Developing machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing models to address complex business problems
- Applying statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and rapid experimentation to generate actionable insights from structured and unstructured data
- Designing data science workflows that connect data engineering, data quality, and model development activities
- Building and refining data models, data pipelines, and analytical assets that support scalable solution delivery
- Evaluating model performance, testing assumptions, and adjusting approaches based on findings and client feedback
- Communicating analytic results through clear narratives, visualizations, and technical recommendations for diverse stakeholders
- Coaching team members through ambiguity, promoting thoughtful problem solving, and supporting delivery across multiple priorities
- Contributing to responsible use of AI by applying sound judgment, professional standards, and governance considerations in delivery
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating AI and GenAI data science leadership across client-facing programs
- Applying machine learning, deep learning, and NLP in complex solutions
- Crafting executive-ready narratives from analytics and model outputs
- Validating outcomes through experimentation, feedback, and iterative refinement
- Coaching diverse teams through ambiguity and changing priorities
The salary range for this position is: $124,000 - $280,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
