Leidos currently has an opening for a Staffing Manager to support the AGUN program.
Candidates will be required to hold and maintain a DOD SECRET CLEARANCE.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Staffing Manager will work as a critical member of a team responsible for identifying, selecting, staffing, and developing personnel for the AGUN program.
The Staffing Manager will work closely within the program management team to identify qualified candidates, schedule interviews, facilitate hire/no hire decisions, and coordinate staffing issues with AGUN managers, program leadership, and subcontractors. Will also work closely with Leidos corporate entities to facilitate the onboarding and redeployment of current employees and support employee development.
The Staffing Manager will become familiar with the staffing requirements of the program and will coordinate directly with the program’s staffing team to ensure that proposed candidates meet the program requirements. The Staffing Manger will ensure Leidos and Subcontractor candidates are properly tracked and job requisitions are created/updated as needed, interview candidates, and track and maintain candidate lists/status for each requisition.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and document staffing requirements.
Work with Leidos and subcontractors to manage candidate submissions.
Work with hiring managers to interview, hire and on-board potential candidates to the AGUN program.
Develop recurring staffing reports that analyze hiring metrics to support optimizing staffing strategies.
Develop and maintain standardized staffing and onboarding processes, templates, and checklists.
Use data to identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
Support On-Boarding efforts.
Submission and tracking and reporting of Account request status.
Manage and track certification and training requirements.
Communicate with subcontractors and staffing firms on a regular basis as to programming needs.
Provide labor rate and skills details for new proposals.
Basic Qualifications
ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLERANCE
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, political science, or related field and 8-12 years of successful experience.
Experience interviewing and selecting candidates for hire.
Demonstrated experience driving process improvements in staffing operations.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with senior-level customers, technical staff, managers, peers, subcontractors and candidates.
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
Highly motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to successfully balance multiple competing tasks.
Experience using Microsoft software with a special emphasis on Excel, SharePoint and data analysis.
