Affiliate Marketing Manager – Jeopardy!

The Affiliate Marketing Manager for Jeopardy! plays a key role in supporting marketing efforts across the show’s syndicated station partners. Reporting to the Executive Director of Affiliate Relations & Marketing, this role helps strengthen relationships with local stations, deliver tailored promotional materials, and execute campaigns that boost tune-in, ratings, and engagement. The ideal candidate knows how to translate national priorities into effective local-market strategies and thrives in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Partner Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Jeopardy! station affiliates, responding to marketing needs, asset requests, and promotional inquiries.
- Build strong relationships across key markets to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging, and campaign execution.
- Provide affiliates with timely updates on show priorities, stunts, events, special episodes, and programming opportunities.
Marketing Materials & Asset Delivery
- Manage the distribution of affiliate-specific marketing toolkits, tune-in assets, social creative, customizable spots, and co-branded materials.
- Support creation and trafficking of localized or market-specific assets based on affiliate requests and regional strategies.
- Maintain organized systems for asset management, versioning, and delivery across platforms.
Campaign Execution
- Assist in planning and executing affiliate-focused marketing initiatives, including contests, sweepstakes, station activations, and themed programming stunts.
- Track local-market usage of creative materials and provide recommendations for optimizing promotional impact.
- Ensure all affiliate-facing creative meets brand standards and accurately reflects the Jeopardy! identity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with national Marketing, Creative, Production, and Social teams to align affiliate content with broader campaigns.
- Collaborate with Research to provide affiliates with ratings insights, performance summaries, and localized data when appropriate.
- Work closely with Distribution and Programming to communicate key updates and maximize national/local cohesion.
Reporting & Insights
- Track affiliate engagement, asset utilization, and promotional performance across markets.
- Provide clear reporting to the Executive Director and senior leadership on affiliate needs, trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Support quarterly or annual presentations for station groups, owners, and key partners.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, entertainment marketing, or broadcast station relations.
- Understanding of the television landscape, syndicated programming, and local station operations.
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with creative assets across linear, digital, and social platforms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple partner needs at once.
