About CoinPoker

Welcome to CoinPoker, the innovative crypto-poker platform where advanced blockchain technology meets the thrilling world of online poker. At CoinPoker, we are revolutionizing the poker experience by offering fast, secure, and transparent gameplay. With recent substantial investment, we are poised to take over the online crypto-poker space and are expanding our team to support our growth.

The Opportunity

The Affiliate Manager is responsible for growing CoinPoker's poker affiliate book in the region, with a primary focus on sourcing, negotiating, and closing new affiliate deals, alongside the ongoing management and commercial performance of the existing partner book.

The role is focused on identifying and closing new affiliate opportunities, structuring deals to attract players whose volume and longevity justify their cost, and cutting or renegotiating underperforming or low-quality sources quickly.

The role requires a strong understanding of poker and the regional poker affiliate landscape, including how rakeback economics, player segments, and community credibility drive both acquisition and long-term player value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and close new poker affiliate deals across the region, structuring CPA, rev share, rakeback-based, and hybrid arrangements within agreed commercial guardrails, escalating to senior management where terms fall outside them.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of new affiliate opportunities across the regional landscape.

  • Structure and manage deals with an understanding of poker player economics, balancing rakeback and deal costs against player volume, longevity, and net contribution.

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for the regional partner book, managing communication, relationship growth, and performance-focused partner management.

  • Monitor deal-level and cohort-level performance, including traffic quality, rake generation, and player longevity, renegotiating or cutting underperforming or low-quality sources.

  • Report regularly on new deals closed, pipeline, book performance, and key risks and opportunities, maintaining accurate partner records, deal terms, and payment schedules.

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven track record sourcing and closing poker affiliate deals, with the acquisition and rake numbers to show for it and the ability to explain the commercial decisions behind them.

  • Strong understanding of poker and poker player economics, including rakeback structures, player segments, and what drives long-term player value versus short-term volume.

  • Established relationships within the regional poker affiliate and community landscape, or a demonstrated ability to build them quickly.

  • Strong working knowledge of poker affiliate deal structures, including CPA, rev share, rakeback-based, and hybrid arrangements.

  • Demonstrated experience monitoring cohort quality, rake generation, and player longevity, and renegotiating or cutting deals based on the data.

  • Strong negotiation and commercial judgment, with experience operating within guardrails and knowing when to escalate.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain and online gaming industry.

  • Flexible working hours and the ability to work fully remotely.

  • A collaborative and inclusive team culture.

  • Professional development opportunities and career growth within a rapidly evolving company.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
