As an Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing test strategies and plans for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all necessary tests are conducted to validate product performance and reliability. Your expertise in test methodologies and tools will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our testing activities.

 In this role, you will impact the success of our aerospace engineering teams by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and performance, ultimately enhancing the customer experience and driving innovation in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop test strategies and plans for product testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute test plans and ensure accurate and efficient testing
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency
  • Develop and implement innovative test strategies to ensure product quality and reliability..
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 5 years of experience in test engineering within the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of test methodologies and tools specific to aerospace products.
  • Familiarity in test facility setup and correlation testing with production assets.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools and technologies such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar software.

  • Experience in aerospace product testing and evaluation.
  • Technical knowledge of air cooled and oil cooled generators, actuation systems, valves, and/or starters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
