The Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily reception-related duties, but with a heavy emphasis on office management, vendor management, and event planning/execution. This role will also assist the Executive Assistant in supporting the executive team with various tasks.      

This position reports to the Administrative Manager & Executive Assistant and is part of the Administrative Team located onsite in our Torrance, CA office.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the executive team by managing administrative needs, including expense reports, team requests, and planning and executing onsite and offsite events, including philanthropy initiatives.

  • Co-manage administrative form requests, food and event services, office supplies, and small office-related projects.

  • Manage front desk reception by greeting customers, vendors, and associates, handling call transfers, and reviewing, organizing, scanning, and distributing mail and faxes.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3+ years' work experience in administrative support

  • 2+ years' experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • 2+ years working in corporate culture

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 pounds

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Event planning

  • Working with executives

The hourly range for this role is $29.00 - $35.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
