Job Summary:
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing general company-wide administrative support.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ordering and stocking office supplies, set up and tear down of company catering and support for company hosted events.
This position's internal job code is Administrative Assist. Our team is currently hiring for level A.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock for all office and kitchen supplies
  • Restocking company fridges and freezers as needed
  • Coordinate and set up company meetings and events
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, maintaining contacts, and composing, proofreading, and editing correspondence and reports as requested
  • Keeping office space, meeting areas and kitchen areas clean and tidy
  • Various office tasks such as typing, filing, faxing, photocopying
  • Process food order requests, including ordering, picking up, prepping and tear down of catering
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required

Physical Demands of the Work Environment:
  • Frequent standing, sitting, stopping, kneeling, crawling, and squatting is required
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs to transfer or move tools, parts, equipment, containers and materials
  • Have the ability to operate standard computer software (Microsoft office and ERP), equipment and keyboards
  • Able to work in normal office as well as inside and outside industrial working environments
  • Possess the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
  • Have ability to fly on regular commercial airlines to offsite locations and launch facilities
  • Familiar with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to, filtered respirators, SCAPE (Self Contained Atmospheric Protective Ensemble), portable air packs, and splash suits

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience providing administrative support
  • Must be computer literate and have proficient skills with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with calendaring and scheduling via Microsoft Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some experience in event planning for small and/or large-scale events
  • Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to be self-sufficient and work with minimal supervision
  • Very strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills

Summary pay range:Level A: $21.25/hr - $31.25/hr
Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
