At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.

We are seeking an experienced, highly collaborative Administrative Assistant to support three key leaders across our Inclusion Strategy organization.

If you love anticipating needs, creating structure out of complexity, and taking pride in flawless execution, this role puts you at the center of our inclusion, diversity, and talent strategy work. A successful candidate is self-motivated, energized by enabling others, and passionate about operational excellence. You will proactively tackle challenges, plan accordingly, remain flexible, and juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities across distinct leadership portfolios.

What you'll do

  • Manage complex calendars across three Inclusion executives and time zones.
  • Support global teams and partners in every region, adapting to different time zones, working styles, and cultural contexts.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, and process expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Support event-heavy work, including speaker invitations, logistics, and day-of event support.
  • Plan and run off-sites, from venues and agendas to travel and on-site details.
  • Assist with planning and running internal events, from scheduling and vendor coordination through day-of setup, on-site support, and follow-up.
  • Work closely with the Inclusion coordinator/project manager on the logistics behind project work, including tracking timelines, owners, and follow-ups.
  • Build reports and presentations as needed
  • Spot where work overlaps across teams and regions, and connect the right people before anyone has to ask.
  • Handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
What you bring
  • Several years of experience as an executive or administrative assistant, ideally supporting more than one executive at once.
  • Experience supporting global teams and partners across regions.
  • A track record of discretion.
  • Comfort in the inclusion space. You engage thoughtfully with its topics, and you work with decency and respect for people from all backgrounds, identities, and perspectives.
  • Accountability and maturity. You own your work and your mistakes, follow through without being chased, and stay steady under pressure.
  • Excellent time management. You prioritize well and move quickly.
  • Proactivity. You anticipate what's needed next and act on it.
  • Sound judgment on what to handle yourself, when to escalate, and how to find an alternative when the first plan falls through.
  • Curiosity about how the business works and how the pieces connect.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and comfort with presentation and reporting tools.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
