The Role:

As our Acumatica Solutions Architect, you will be guiding, managing, designing and contributing to critical and complex technical client engagements. Serving as a strategic advisor and Acumatica product and platform expert, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of ERP software, Acumatica modules, and associated technologies to provide guidance, technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring our solutions and methodologies are sustainable, scalable, and exceed our clients’ expectations.  

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the client.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient and sustainable Acumatica solutions:
    • Produce professional documentation of current challenges, future requirements and benefits in a manner appropriate for clients.
    • Define and develop detailed functional requirements documents to be shared with consultants, developers and other internal team members.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients, navigating them through challenges and around obstacles by offering robust solutions that solve business challenges and enrich their strategic capabilities.
  • Serve as the lead architect for the overall engagement by coordinating and aligning work of multiple resources on the team and acting as the liaison between the project team and development:
    • Ensure integrity and timeliness of the solution being delivered.
  • Contribute, as needed, to the pre-sales process to position successful delivery of the Acumatica solution.
  • Collaborate with the Business Solutions Team on pre-sales opportunities where standard Acumatica functionality will not address the needs of the prospect:
    • Attend meetings with sales representatives, sales engineers and/or prospects to gather information on the business use case, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Client Success Team on existing client issues where standard Acumatica functionality does not meet their needs:
    • Attend meetings with client success manager, lead consultant and/or clients to gather information on business use case, functional and non-functional requirement
  • During the development stage, assist the team with additional requirements gathering , as required; serve as the conduit between the technical and functional teams, as needed.
  • Create documentation for installation, configuration, intended functionality and testing of completed modifications.
  • Assist with the definition of changes and remediation reporting during user acceptance testing of the delivered solution.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Acumatica experience (Strong experience with other ERP solutions, such as Dynamics GP or Solomon will be considered)
  • 5+ years of experience as a functional architect, business analyst or software consultant in an ERP environment preferred but not required
  • Exceptionally strong business acumen with solid understanding of mid-sized business operations related to manufacturing, distribution, sales, ordering, shipping, invoicing and reporting
  • Experience architecting a solution with multiple products, customizations and resource constraints
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Superior listening skills with the ability to ask targeted questions which uncover client issues and solve ambiguous problems

    • Microsoft Tech Stack
    • Report Designer (or similar tools, like Crystal Reports)
    • SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
    • Visual Studio
    • Postman
  • Working knowledge of:
    • C# and .net
    • JSON

    • Ecommerce
    • SDLC
