Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end AR process, with a focus on client billings related to media buys and production services. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, a high degree of ownership, and frequent cross-departmental communication to ensure timely and accurate collections
What You’ll Be Working On
- Process and post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor, track, and manage accounts receivable balances including those related to media and production invoices
- Maintain AR aging report on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date status of all client account
- Proactively follow up on past-due invoices through phone, email, and internal escalation
- Work closely with media and production teams to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve discrepancies
- Serve as a liaison between finance and client-facing departments (e.g., account managers, media planners) to align on billing issues and client communications
- Prepare weekly AR reports and participate in AR meetings to review collection status
- Apply credits, process adjustments, and manage unapplied cash as needed
- Assist with month-end close activities related to revenue and AR reconciliation
- Support annual audits and compliance reporting with documentation and schedules as needed
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably within an advertising, media, or creative services environment
- Solid understanding of AR principles, collections processes, and financial reporting
- Experience with invoicing for media buys and production work a strong plus
- Proficiency in accounting software (preferably NetSuite) and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- High level of accuracy, accountability, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Preferred: Experience with project-based or client-based billing models
- Preferred:Familiarity with media management systems or advertising industry tools

The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
