About the role


Reporting to the Associate Director, Revenue Accounting based in London, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will support and coordinate the company's invoicing and accounts receivable requirements globally. You will play a key role in the business and will have responsibility for ensuring all invoices are processed on time, accurately, and in accordance with contracts and local legislation.

What will your day look like? You will...

  • Ensure invoicing processes are operating effectively and efficiently.Monitor Accounts Receivable balances including escalating issues.Partner with the Treasury team in the timely collection of cash.Support in ensuring correct invoicing from a regulatory and compliance perspective.Own the process of ensuring cash received is matched against the correct invoice.Partner with our Platform Team to resolve invoice anomalies.Analyse differences between month-end accruals and actual invoices, and lead the resolutions.Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.Partner with the financial reporting team to ensure adherence to US GAAP standard requirements.Ownership of the Accounts Receivable Aging including escalations and tracking.Support the financial reporting team in statutory and group audits on revenue-related topics.Support internal business related queries regarding revenue.

To help us level up, you'll ideally have:

  • 5+ years experience in invoicing and collections with an international businesses
  • Netsuite experience
  • Familiarity with revenue recognition requirements under US GAAP
  • Strong understanding of invoicing processes
  • Experience in providing information to external auditors
  • Strong analytical skills to assess invoicing requirements, and make data-driven decisions
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling customer information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a customer-centric mindset
  • Relevant certifications in Accounts Receivable accounting, or general accounting are advantageous, but not required
  • Willingness to be adaptable for calls with team members on European timezones

*The cash compensation range for this role is between $100,000-$130,000.


*This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office, with in-office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
