Geary Pacific Corporation is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team at our home office in Anaheim.

In this role, you’ll help keep our financial operations running smoothly by processing a high volume of invoices, working closely with vendors and branch teams, and ensuring transactions are accurate and properly matched. You’ll be part of a collaborative accounting team where organization, communication, and attention to detail make a real difference.

What You’ll Do

• Process and enter a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts using a three-way matching process.
• Process and reconcile EDI invoices.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, discrepancies, and account questions.
• Partner with branch personnel across multiple locations to resolve invoice and purchasing issues.
• Research and resolve discrepancies while maintaining accurate records.
• Work closely with other Accounts Payable Specialists and the Accounting Manager.
• Provide responsive, professional service to vendors and internal teams.
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Fundamental accounting and math skills.
• Experience with invoice processing and matching preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
