Accounts Officer (AP & AR) - Remote
About PeoplePartners
- Invoices in. Payments out. Reconciliations balanced. Questions answered.
- If that sounds like a satisfying workday, you might fit right in.
- At PeoplePartners, we’re proud to be a Great Place to Work® certified company where people come first. You’ll get the opportunity to work with Australian businesses, build valuable global experience, and grow your career without leaving home.
- We bring together talented people, supportive teams, and opportunities that make work worth showing up for. If you’re ready for your next career move, we’d love to meet you.
- We’re looking for an Accounts Officer (AP & AR) to support one of our Australian clients in a fully remote role.
- This is a hands-on finance position covering both accounts payable and accounts receivable. One minute, you could be checking the GST coding on a supplier invoice. The next, you’re investigating a part payment, completing a reconciliation, or helping resolve a customer query.
- There’s variety, but there’s also structure. Accuracy matters. Deadlines matter. And when something doesn’t add up, you investigate rather than assume.
- And yes, there will be spreadsheets. We figured you’d already made peace with that. ?

- Complete account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.
- Process and reconcile staff expenses and corporate cards.
- Assist with audit requests and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized finance records.
- Follow established finance processes and recurring deadlines.
- Escalate discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities to improve repetitive or manual processes.

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- At least 2 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.

- Experience in a member-based, association, college or education environment.
A great role should give you more than another line on your résumé. At PeoplePartners, you’ll join a Great Place to Work® certified team that puts people, growth, and connection at the centre of the employee experience. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build valuable experience supporting an Australian business.
- Grow your career through ongoing learning and development opportunities.
- Work with supportive colleagues in a people-first culture.
- Take part in employee engagement activities that keep our remote teams connected.
- Develop your skills through exposure to international processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Enjoy the convenience and flexibility of a fully remote work setup.
- Do meaningful work where accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement are valued.
