Hourly Rate: $24.00 - $26.00/HR


CR&R Incorporated is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support both our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping financial processes accurate and efficient.

Every invoice processed, payment applied, and discrepancy resolved helps keep our operations running smoothly. As an Accounting Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting vendors, customers, and internal teams while contributing to the financial success of one of the largest privately held waste and recycling companies in the Western United States.

What You'll Do

• Process and post vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Apply incoming customer payments including cash, ACH, credit card, and lockbox transactions.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues.
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve outstanding items.
• Support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as business needs require.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounting, AP, AR, or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to follow up to resolve issues.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
