Job description

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with government agencies

Act as the point of contact for Accountants/Clients

Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions

Direct supervision of all accounting and administrative personnel

Timely financial reports that reflect all of the activity of the company and all associated entities, Real Estate LLCs, JVs, Deal accounting

Responsible for weekly dashboard for all key managers for key indicators only • For the President, a daily cash report with all current asset and liabilities accounted for and work with him to put together a meaningful dashboard

IT is functioning properly and we are having regular discussions regarding improvement

All regular/day to day accounting functions are being performed properly and on time including payroll, A/P and A/R

The timely and accurate filing of sales and ad valorem tax returns

Has all systems in place for assuring safety and security for all assets, including cash in particular

Work with outside accountants and President to make decisions as are necessary within the accounting function Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
