About Healthcare.com

Healthcare.com is a healthcare technology company building smarter ways to connect people and partners with the coverage, care, and solutions they need.

We’re three businesses, one company. Through Marketplace, Pivot Health, and TrustRx, our work spans health insurance marketplaces, flexible health coverage, and pharmacy, giving us more ways to solve meaningful problems across the healthcare ecosystem.

Healthcare doesn’t stand still, and neither do we. We’re curious, collaborative, and always looking for better ways to solve problems, use technology, and make an impact.

About The Role

Pivot Health, a Healthcare.com company, is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager to help grow and strengthen our network of agency and agent partners.
In this role, you’ll work directly with existing partners who sell Pivot Health products, helping them get more from the relationship and ultimately grow their business with us. You’ll focus on increasing agent engagement and production, strengthening partner relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and helping remove roadblocks along the way.
This is a remote role reporting to the Manager of Sales and Account Services and is a great fit for someone who understands insurance distribution, knows how to build strong broker and agency relationships, and enjoys being accountable for measurable results.

What You'll Do

    What You’ll Do
    • Own and grow a portfolio of agency and agent partners, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to increase engagement and production
    • Serve as a trusted partner to agencies and agents, helping them navigate Pivot Health products, tools, processes, and opportunities
    • Proactively engage partners through regular outreach, agency visits, business reviews, training, and targeted growth conversations
    • Use performance data to understand account activity, identify trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to improve partner production and retention
    • Travel to agency offices, conferences, and partner events to strengthen relationships, support business development, and increase partner engagement
    • Represent Pivot Health at agency and industry events, confidently delivering product education, training, and business updates to both small and large audiences
    • Support product launches, sales initiatives, and campaigns by educating partners and driving adoption across agency and agent networks
    • Identify barriers impacting partner performance and work across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other teams to find solutions and improve the partner experience
    • Bring partner feedback and market insights back to the business to help inform products, processes, and future growth opportunities
    • Maintain accurate partner activity, opportunities, and account information within our CRM and internal systems
    • Take ownership of account performance and continuously look for new ways to grow relationships, increase production, and strengthen Pivot Health’s distribution network

Who You Are

  • You have 3+ years of experience in account management, partner development, sales, or insurance operations, ideally within a B2B insurance distribution model
  • You understand the individual health insurance market, particularly under-65 products, and are comfortable working with brokers, agencies, agents, and uplines
  • You’re commercially minded and motivated by growth. You don’t just maintain accounts; you look for opportunities to increase engagement, production, and long-term value
  • You’re a strong relationship builder who can earn credibility with partners, have productive business conversations, and confidently navigate challenges
  • You’re comfortable presenting and training, whether you’re sitting across the table from an agency partner or speaking to a larger group at an industry event
  • You use data to understand what’s happening within your accounts and turn those insights into action
  • You’re proactive, organized, and comfortable owning a portfolio of partners in a remote environment
  • You’re comfortable with technology and have experience with enrollment, quoting, or broker platforms such as E123, HealthSherpa, or similar tools; CRM experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment and take ownership of your results
  • You’re willing and able to travel approximately 30% on average for agency visits, partner trainings, conferences, and industry events

How You Stand Out

  • Experience managing a portfolio of agent or agency relationships in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with multi-carrier insurance distribution models
  • Experience with broker enablement or enrollment platforms
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a fast-moving, performance-driven environment

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
