Position Overview

Green Street seeks highly motivated candidates with relevant work experience, a passion for finance and commercial real estate, and superior academic credentials to join its Account Management team. This Account Manager role will focus on first-year Green Street Research clients, with primary responsibilities that include onboarding and training these accounts, renewing their subscriptions, servicing and educating the client base, and managing relationships with key stakeholders across a book of business. The ideal candidate will create, implement and follow strategies to drive product adoption, increase annual revenue within each account, and actively collect client feedback to grow overall relationships and improve the Green Street brand. Significant collaboration with the Account Management, Customer Success, and New Business teams is expected.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own the full renewal cycle for first-year accounts, from early engagement through contract execution. and ultimately a successful renewal
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a Core book of first-year Green Street research accounts, building relationships with key stakeholders to drive value
  • Lead structured onboarding for new Green Street subscribers, ensuring clients are effectively trained and integrating Green Street data into their workflows from day one
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews, bringing a consultative perspective rooted in each client's investment goals
  • Actively collect and relay client feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase annual revenue within the existing book
  • Training clients on Green Street’s Research, News and Data & Analytics services, as well as our methodology and web-based platform 
  • Partner closely with the Account Management, Customer Success, and New Business teams to ensure a coordinated account strategy
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree with high distinction in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a customer-facing role — ideally within a SaaS, financial data, or financial services environment
  • Superior relationship management skills with a genuine desire to help clients succeed
  • Sales-driven and competitive, with experience negotiating with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with well-developed presentation abilities
  • Fundamental understanding of the financial industry, including investment banks, lenders, private equity firms, and hedge funds; familiarity with commercial real estate or REIT markets is a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to driving product adoption and retention, with a focus on ensuring first-year clients realize measurable value from their Green Street subscription
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage a book of business, flag risks early, and follow through on commitments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Salesforce, Gong, and Salesloft is a plus
  • Comfort with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate them into day-to-day workflows, including client outreach, call preparation, and account management
Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization

In addition to the posted base salary range, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
