At Weights & Biases, our mission is to build the best tools for AI developers. We founded our company on the insight that while there were excellent tools for developers to build better code, there were no similarly great tools to help ML practitioners build better models. Starting with our first experiment tracking product, we have since expanded our solution into a comprehensive AI developer platform for organizations focused on building their own deep learning models and generative AI applications.

Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 employees. We proudly serve over 1,000 customers and more than 30 foundation model builders including customers such as OpenAI, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Toyota.

The Enterprise Account Manager plays a critical role in owning the commercial and relationship aspects of the post-sales customer journey while quarterbacking customer success in close partnership with Field Engineering—who leads the technical success strategy for each account. Reporting to the Director of Account Management, you will manage a portfolio of Enterprise accounts and work closely with Field Engineering on onboarding, adoption, success, renewals, expansions, upsells, and cross-sells. With a core focus on customer success and revenue growth, you will orchestrate cross-functional efforts to ensure customers achieve meaningful outcomes and long-term value.

This role requires a certain level of technical understanding to effectively collaborate with Field Engineering on business impact. You must also understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for your customers and the value-add of solutions, including AI/ML, Developer Tools, DevOps, and Infrastructure. Your collaboration skills, initiative, and strategic thinking will be critical to strengthening customer relationships and driving account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Post-Sales Ownership & Expansion
  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, owning all commercial and key relationships of the post-sales journey.
  • Collaborate with Field Engineering to both ensure customers are successful with W&B and lead renewal and expansion strategies.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and broader platform adoption.

  • Customer Success & Enablement
  • Partner with ML teams, developers, and technical leaders to align W&B usage with business goals.
  • Work with Field Engineering to deliver successful onboarding experiences with tailored success plans and enablement programs.
  • Monitor and guide product adoption through regular check-ins, training sessions, and QBRs.

  • Strategic Engagement & Advocacy
  • Cultivate multi-threaded relationships across technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your customers by understanding their architecture, roadmap, and strategic priorities.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing product and go-to-market strategy.

  • Collaboration & Process Excellence
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Field Engineering, Support, and Marketing.
  • Maintain account documentation, health metrics, and forecasts to drive operational visibility.
  • Help shape the future of Account Management at W&B by contributing to playbooks, processes, and tooling.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles within B2B/SaaS, commercializing technical products.
  • 2+ years in a quota-carrying AE or AM role with ownership of the full post-sales customer journey OR Renewals Managers with prior quota-carrying experience.
  • Proven experience managing Enterprise/Strategic accounts by effectively navigating relationships from developers to C-level stakeholders and driving account growth through the alignment of technical value with key business outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI/ML Development Process, The Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), OR CI/CD.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with a demonstrated ability to thrive in highly collaborative, asynchronous, remote-first environments.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven ability to take initiative, quickly learn technical and functional concepts, and build/adapt in high-growth environments without waiting for direction.
  • Nice to Haves:

  • Experience supporting or working within ML, MLOps, DevOps, or data infrastructure teams.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jupyter, Python, PyTorch, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience creating and executing growth or activation strategies for technical products.
  • Exposure to the Foundation Model Builder, AI applications, or Generative AI ecosystem.
  • Background managing global enterprise accounts with large-scale deployments.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
