Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Account Manager - Independent Sellers to join our growing team. This individual will be the primary point of contact and advocate for our seller community. You will be responsible for the entire seller lifecycle: from identifying and attracting new sellers, to guiding them through a seamless onboarding process, and providing world-class, ongoing support to help them grow their business on our platform.
This role is a unique blend of business development, account management, and customer support. The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder, a proactive problem-solver, and is passionate about helping small businesses succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify, research, and recruit high-potential independent sellers who are a strong fit for our marketplace
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies through various channels (social media, industry forums, email campaigns, trade events)
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of selling on our platform to prospective partners
  • Manage a pipeline of potential sellers and track recruitment metrics
  • Guide new sellers through the entire account registration, verification, and store setup process, ensuring a smooth and positive first experience
  • Provide one-on-one assistance and troubleshoot any technical or logistical issues during setup
  • Ensure sellers understand our platform's policies, tools, and best practices from day one
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all seller inquiries, including questions about platform features, policies, and performance
  • Investigate and facilitate the resolution of seller issues, such as payment disputes, account holds, and customer complaints, acting as a mediator when necessary
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our sellers, fostering a sense of community and partnership
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of educational materials, such as help articles, video tutorials, and best-practice guides
  • Host webinars and training sessions on topics like marketing, inventory management, and maximizing sales
  • Monitor key seller performance metrics (e.g., sales volume, customer ratings, order fulfillment rates) and provide proactive, data-driven advice to help them improve
  • Communicate platform updates, new features, and promotional opportunities to the seller community
  • Act as the "voice of the seller" within the company, providing valuable feedback to our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to drive platform improvements
  • Identify friction points in the seller journey and propose solutions to streamline processes and enhance the seller experience

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in account management, partner success, business development, or a similar client-facing role, preferably in an e-commerce or tech environment

Skills and Qualifications:
  • This is a 100% in-office position, located in Littleton, CO.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of empathy; you genuinely enjoy helping others solve problems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work independently and be a proactive self-starter
  • In-person sales experience (i.e. retail, residential, etc.)
  • Experience working with order entry / point-of-sale systems
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Experience creating educational content (writing guides, recording tutorials, hosting webinars)
  • Familiarity with resolving payment disputes, chargebacks, or other financial inquiries
  • Data analysis skills; comfortable using metrics to provide actionable insights

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
