With a rapidly growing portfolio of owned and operated channels and apps, Cineverse is seeking an Account Manager to help support and grow our 3rd Party partner relationships.

NOTE: Cineverse is currently a 100% work-from-home company.  While we may return to an office environment in the future, we do not have plans to return to an office setting at this time.  When we return to an office environment, the incumbent may be required to work from the office on a part or full-time basis, as needed.  We are committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees.

Position Summary

The Account Manager will serve as a key liaison between the company, its 3rd party distribution partners and the Connected TV manufacturers, OEMs, streaming platforms, and app stores the product is launched on. This role ensures that 3rd Party channels and apps are successfully launched, maintained, and optimized on each partner platform. The ideal candidate is highly organized, partner-focused, and passionate about digital entertainment and streaming media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Management:
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for 3rd party distribution partners across Connected TVs, OEMs, FAST/AVOD/SVOD platforms, and app ecosystems.
    • Support contract execution, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management with key accounts.
  • Channel & App Support:
    • Oversee the launch and maintenance of all 3rd party apps and channels across partner platforms.
    • Ensure accurate metadata, creative assets, and technical deliverables are delivered on schedule.
    • Track product updates, partner requirements, and feature integrations to keep offerings competitive.
  • Performance & Reporting:
    • Monitor partner performance, app analytics, and channel KPIs (viewership, engagement, monetization).
    • Provide regular performance reports and insights to internal stakeholders and partners.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to optimize app visibility, promotion, and growth.
    • Engage with 3rd party customers to support ideas and initiatives around campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Product, Operations, Content, and Marketing teams to align partner needs with internal priorities.
    • Coordinate with Tech/Operations on issue resolution, app updates, and delivery pipelines.
  • Growth & Strategy:
    • Identify opportunities for deeper integrations, new partnerships, and expanded distribution.
    • Provide feedback from partners to help shape the channel and app roadmap.
    • Provide guidance to partners on content strategy and programming best practices to optimize channel performance and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, media, marketing, martech or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, partner management, or distribution within streaming, media, or digital entertainment.
  • Strong understanding of Connected TV, OEM, and streaming platform ecosystems (FAST, AVOD, SVOD).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for streaming, entertainment, and emerging media platforms.
