Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive customer retention and relationship management. This role is crucial in ensuring contract renewals, customer satisfaction, and service upgrades, while also identifying opportunities for business expansion.

The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely with sales, installation teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities


        Customer Retention & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and work towards long-term satisfaction.
    Contract Renewals & Service Upgrades
  • Lead contract renewal discussions well in advance of expiration dates.
  • Identify and recommend service upgrades based on customer needs.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure customers maximize the value of our solutions.
    Expansion & Sales Collaboration
  • Identify and refer new sales and expansion opportunities to the Sales team.
  • Work closely with Sales to strategize account growth and upsell opportunities.
  • Provide insights on customer needs to support sales and product development.
    Implementation & Installation Support
  • Act as the primary relationship manager during customer implementations.
  • Work closely with the installation teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and internal departments to address issues proactively.
    Travel & On-Site Customer Engagement
  • Frequently travel across the U.S. to meet with customers in person.
  • Conduct on-site visits, check-ins, and business reviews to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in account management, customer success, or a similar role.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the transportation and logistics or security solutions industry preferred.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage customers.
  • Negotiation & Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex contract discussions and resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Works well cross-functionally with sales, operations, and implementation teams.

Compensation Structure:

Competitive base pay + commissions

Location:

  • This role is remote (WFH)
  • Must be willing to travel extensively to meet with customers in person within the advertised region
  • Some out of state travel will be required
  • International travel to our HQ in Toronto may be required

This role will require the candidate to complete background checks (includes but not limited to: references, educational verification, criminal check, credit check - where applicable).
