An exciting opportunity to work in omni-channel sales across a variety of sports! AMP Sport’s Account Executive will negotiate and sell linear, digital, Podcast, social and experiential for Tennis Channel Platforms, Sinclair’s new talent led division and partake in cross-company selling functions. This AMP Sports role is based in Los Angeles.

          o Men’s Soccer Podcast: Unfiltered Soccer (Landon Donovan and Tim Howard)

          o Women’s Soccer Podcast: Style of Play (Julie Ertz and Kealia Watt)

          o NBA Podcast: Cousins (Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter)

          o WNBA Podcast: Post Moves (Candace Parker and Aliya Boston)

  • Events & Experiences

          o CFB Tailgate Tour

          o The Block at Super Bowl LXI

  • Broadcast Sports Across Sinclair’s 186 Broadcast Stations across 86 DMA’s

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain existing and forge new relationships with agencies and clients to maximize revenue for the various assets.
  • Sell a variety of sports solutions across the AMP Sports portfolio.
  • Educate agencies and client community about AMP Sports’ assets.
  • Position and sell the networks against the competing marketplace.
  • Sell and orchestrate multi-level sponsorship packages with major advertisers.
  • Work closely with Marketing to build customized branded content and sponsorship elements across linear and digital.
  • Work both independently and as part of a close-knit team to create sales presentations and proposals.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of advertising sales experience, preferably in digital, social, and linear sales.
  • Strong agency & client relationship.
  • Proven track record of follow-up and success in the selling multi-platform opportunities.
  • Solid analytical and organizational qualities.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be a consummate team player and a goal-oriented thinker.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $130,000 to $140,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, which would be awarded based on individual and company performance. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
