Own an enterprise territory selling Clutch’s vertical SaaS platform to credit unions. Responsibilities include managing inbound leads, generating outbound pipeline, conducting demos and technical conversations, shaping RFPs, navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and closing $150K–$300K+ ACV deals against a $1M+ annual quota. The role requires deep credit union industry knowledge, consistent prospecting, strategic selling, and willingness to travel for customer meetings.

About the Role

Credit unions serve over 130 million Americans, and most of them are still running software built two decades ago. Clutch is replacing it.

You'll own an enterprise territory and sell our full platform — loan origination, deposit and business account opening, and our AI lending assistant — into a market that has been waiting for real solutions.

You'll carry a $1M+ annual quota against deals that typically land between $150K and $300K+ ACV on 3–9 month cycles.

About the Team

You'll join a small enterprise team where every rep owns a region and runs it like their own business. Our sales leader coaches rather than micromanages. A dedicated sales engineering team backs you up on technical and industry depth so you're set up for success.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Go deep on credit unions — how they lend, how they buy, and where they're losing members to fintechs.

  • Work your inbound leads and start generating pipeline of your own.

  • Get in front of customers and teammates in person, not just on Zoom.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Close your first deal.

  • Run your own demos and hold your own in technical conversations.

  • Bring ideas that change how the team sells, not just how you sell.

  • Build the pipeline that carries you to your annual number.

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Feel confident selling the full platform.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in B2B software sales with a consistent record of hitting a $1M+ annual quota.

  • Experience closing $150K+ ACV deals on 3–9 month cycles across multiple stakeholders.

  • Prospecting skills - You don't wait for leads to show up.

  • Comfortable shaping an RFP in your favor before it's written.

  • Curious, low-ego, and energized by a market most people overlook.

  • Willing to travel and meet customers where they are.

About Us

Clutch is a revolutionary vertical SaaS company, proudly backed by Andreessen Horowitz (A16z), aimed at revolutionizing the way Credit Unions engage and change the lives of their members. As a champion of financial well-being, we address the urgent need for affordable lending solutions in an era where the average American grapples with over $155,000 in household debt.  Unlike traditional financial institutions, Clutch develops software to turn credit unions into FinTech lenders and leverage their balance sheets to lend responsibly to over 130M Americans. Our mission extends beyond mere financial transactions; we strive to fundamentally enhance the way credit unions interact with their members. By integrating cutting-edge technologies and user-centric designs, we help credit unions provide seamless digital experiences that are on par with leading tech companies. This approach not only preserves but revitalizes the longstanding tradition of community and member-focused service inherent to credit unions.
A Note About AI at Clutch
We love AI. We use it often and encourage our team to creatively and effectively leverage AI tools in their work. If you join Clutch, we hope you'll bring the same enthusiasm for exploring how AI can amplify impact, productivity, and innovation.
That said, during the interview process, we want to hear your thoughts. Please approach interviews without the use of AI tools—our goal is to get to know how you think, solve problems, and communicate. Once you're in the seat, bring on the prompts!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
