The Opportunity...

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Account Director to oversee sales outreach and business development with insurance carriers, producer captive agencies and independent agencies to drive revenue growth within the Auto, Home and Life insurance verticals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, meeting client objectives, and a willingness to meet with clients where and when they need it. The Account Director will play a key role in expanding our market presence, fostering client relationships, and achieving business objectives, especially as they relate to the relaunch of our flagship property, autoinsurance.com.

How You'll Contribute...

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets and expand market share with existing clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical product, and other cross-functional teams to develop effective sales collateral, and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and establish partnerships.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

What We're Looking For...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required; MBA a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales outreach, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a strong drive to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales plans, including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
