What We DoFirst American’s HR Internship Program is a full-time, 10–12 week paid internship from June – August 2025. As a First American HR Intern, you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional, and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. You will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry – balanced with intern-specific activities, executive-level presentations, and networking opportunities – while under the guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support the Human Resources function.

Job Description:

This Human Resources internship will provide an aspiring HR professional with hands-on experience, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to the HR function while developing essential skills. As an HR intern, you will work directly with HR Business Partners providing day to day support needed to drive strategic initiatives and projects across multiple divisions.

  • Provide support to HR Business Partners, including but not limited to; data and trend analysis, research, report writing, creating presentations, and assisting with problem resolution.
  • Partner with other HR specialty functions (compensation, talent acquisition, learning & development) to help deliver HR services.
  • Project management support and HR initiative roll-out at the direction of the HR Director or a senior level HRBP.

  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • An interest and willingness to learn about the Mortgage, Real Estate, Financial, Title Insurance or related industries.

  • An ingrained concern for the customer and representing our Company in the best professional manner as possible.
  • The potential to excel in the following competencies: Communication, Customer Focus, Ethics & Integrity, Teamwork & Adaptability, Productivity & Initiative.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.

The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $24.00

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
