Our Hopper dredgers (TSHD) and Cutter dredgers (CSD) work around the world on the most challenging dredging projects. As a member of the Engineering department, you maintain the engines to let our vessels run smoothly in order to secure their 24/7 productionYour responsibilities
  • You are in charge of an Engineering watch on board of a TSHD, CSD or split barge

  • You are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all technical installations on board

  • You carry out duties according to STCW regulation

  • You maintain and repair the technical equipment on board according to instructions of the Chief Engineer

  • You operate the main and auxiliary machinery and the associated control system

  • You maintain a safe engineering watch

  • You observe the quality, health, safety and environmental system

  • You give clear and balanced feedback to your co-workers, aiming at the development of others

Your profile
  • You already have work experience on a Hopper dredger (TSHD) or Cutter dredger (CSD)

  • You have a Certificate of Competency (STCW) of Second Engineer (III/2)

  • You have an STCW VI/6 Security Awareness or VI/6 Designated Security (preferable)

  • You have a strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment

  • You have a hands-on and no nonsense mentality

  • You speak and write English fluently
