Teams at Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights

Provides interdisciplinary legal advocacy for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children. Responsibilities include preparing best-interests determinations, advising on immigration and child welfare law, supervising volunteer Child Advocates, collaborating with social workers and stakeholders, attending hearings and interviews, supporting case management, and reporting program data. The role requires child-centered, trauma-informed advocacy, strong legal writing and communication, bilingual ability, a law license, and immigration or child welfare experience.
