The COO will lead operational strategy and execution across a multi-site YMCA, overseeing membership, facilities, finance, staffing, community relations, and data-driven performance. They will manage large budgets, implement the strategic framework, mentor leadership, coordinate with the Board and CEO, and drive organizational growth, sustainability, and inclusive culture across 29 operations, 220 program sites, camps, and 3,000+ staff.

Serve as a frontline ambassador to welcome and engage members, conduct membership sales and retention activities, deliver wellness consultations and onboarding, support safe fitness center use, process memberships/payments, and participate in community outreach and YMCA leadership initiatives to drive belonging and membership growth.

Part-time, seasonal role averaging 4–6 hours weekly during afternoons.

Serve as a frontline ambassador to welcome members, foster belonging, provide wellness guidance, conduct membership sales and retention activities, lead onboarding and small-group connections, ensure fitness center safety, and support YMCA operations and community outreach.

Lead all branch operations including staff and volunteer management, budgeting, fundraising, community relations, program development, facility oversight, and board engagement to achieve strategic goals.

Plan and lead developmentally appropriate before- and after-school activities, foster positive relationships with children and families, ensure safety and compliance with YMCA and California licensing, and support children's academic, social, and emotional growth in a part-time classroom setting.
