Assists with engineering-based cost segregation studies for real estate properties. Reviews construction costs, depreciation schedules, invoices, and fixed asset records; analyzes asset classifications under tax guidance; supports site visits; prepares workpapers and reports; researches tax regulations; coordinates with clients; and maintains accurate engagement files. The role develops expertise in tax consulting, depreciation methodologies, fixed assets, and real estate taxation while collaborating with tax, engineering, and real estate professionals.

Reviews complex corporate and partnership tax returns, advises clients on federal and state compliance and tax planning, manages multiple engagements, mentors staff, leads professional development, and develops new business. The role requires strong technical tax, client service, leadership, communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license or master's degree in taxation.

Lead tax due diligence and structuring engagements for private equity and strategic clients involved in acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, and other transactions. Coordinate workstreams, collaborate with client management, identify tax and post-transaction issues, prepare findings and recommendations, mentor junior staff, and contribute to M&A best practices and practice growth.
